This run has a very impressive start (you may need to be very sure of yourself when getting over the cornice at the summit), followed by a steep couloir 40° and a slope. It is very comlex mountainous terrain for expert mountain skiers only, picking their way through rock bands on the route. The route ends in Clavans, though you can cut off early via the col de Sarenne to get back to Alp d Huez. Dangers of bad visibility, rock bands, avalanche. |
