When the conditions are right from top to bottom of the Glacier de la Girose. This route is no doubt one of the most fantastic Legendary Routes in the world. This high-mountain descente of reading and navigation of the terrain requires good knowledge of the route and area. The long vertical ski descent and distance will offer limitless variety from tame to steep terrain commencing on a vast glacier, proceeding down spectacular open bowls, winding its way through small chutes, crossing glacial morains into seemingly endless steeps and deeps in the serenity of the forest. It can also lead you to the two couloirs, a 900m, free floating elevator drop to the valley below. |
