From Téleski des Trifides alt:3300m, you hike up to Pointe Trifide attalt:3406m. The Pan de Redeau is a very exposed route, 350 metres of steep skiing 45° or even more. There may be underlying ice, crevasses on the glacier. Instead of skiing skiers left towards La Pointe Trifide and the vallon there is a ridge that divides the glacier du Rateau alt:3000m. Follow the ridge on skis left and you will find a long steep slope. Certain years it is possibile to ski on exposed traverses. Complex route finding in crevassed terrain. |
