From the classic Chancel
side, take a sharp right turn towards Breche de Pacave and continue down
a wide slope to the lake. Ski down the middle line of the valley to reach
the rock-face overlooking the lake. The entrance to the couloir is just below
a large nipple-shaped knoll! The exit is along the left side of the lake.
Be careful skiing toward Couloir du Lac. Risk of wind-slabs may form on the traverse just before the couloir, high risk of slipping on hard-packed snow. |
