From the classic Chancel side, take a sharp right turn towards Breche de Pacave and continue down a wide slope to the lake. From here you can reach all the couloirs. Be careful of wind-slabs may form on the traverse just before the couloirs, high risk of slipping on hard-packed snow. Patou is located skis right, Le Banane is located in the center, Couloir du Lac is on skis left. |
