From the classic Chancel side, take a sharp right turn towards Breche de Pacave and continue down a wide slope to the lake. Skis left towards the long rock-face of Peyrou dÁmount. Staying by the foot of the rocks, keep going down closer to the rock face until looking over the lake to reach the steep-sided couloir.At the bottom ski alongside the lake and exit via the outflow from the lake. Be careful as wind-slabs may form on the traverse just before the couloirs, high risk of slipping on hard-packed snow. |
