Now's the time to start planning your ski holiday with us at The The Skiers Lodge for the coming season. Those of you who have been here before will know that we are perfectly positioned for the biggest lift accessed off piste skiing in the world. There are 2,150 vertical metres (7,050+ ft) of completely unmanaged terrain to enjoy on the La Meije massif . We must stress that the La Grave/La Meije ski area is not a resort adapted for skiers, it is the skier that must adapt to the mountain.

Here´s how it works:

At The The Skiers Lodge we offer advanced skiers fully qualified guiding in small groups.

All our guides are IFMGA-UIAGM qualified and speak English, French, Swedish or German
Specialist safety equipment is provided
Groups are organised according to ability
When not skiing La Meije, we offer road trips to discover secret off piste areas for big skiing in places like Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier and parts of Italy.

NOTES

For your information :

To save time in the morning, we supply lift passes for La Meije at a reduced price.
Off-piste insurance is recommended and can be bought very reasonably through the local sports shop or check your own insurance cover.
For ski hire, the latest freeriding and fat skis are available from the helpful local mountain shop in La Grave at reasonable prices. They stock many of the top names plus lots of other great skis and equipment to try out.
Our holidays commence and terminate on Saturdays unless previously arranged. The Ski Guides of La Chaumine The Skiers Lodge are (UIAGM-IFMGA) guides/aspirants guides, guiding is from Sunday to Friday inclusive.

Terms & Conditions

Please fill in a booking enquiry form and we will reply to you as quickly as possible regarding your enquiries or reservations.

A deposit of EUR 250 per person is payable to confirm your reservation at the time of booking.The balance of the package price is due for payment 8 weeks before the start date of your holiday.

Late bookings : if you are booking less than 8 weeks before you intend to come, we will do our best to fit you in. Full payment is then due on booking.

If you do not pay your balance at the specified time without making prior arrangements with us, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

Note that we are not able to take bookings for anyone under the age of 18 unless the skier is between 15 and 18 and will be skiing with a parent at all times.

Your booking is confirmed when we receive your deposit.. Our package runs from Saturday to Saturday *, guiding is from Sunday to Friday inclusive.

We accept payment in Euros by taking your VISA or your MASTER- CARD, number over the telephone or online through our website, or you may pay by bank transfer.

Cancellations: Any cancellations must be received in writing and are subject to the following penalties:

8-12 weeks before holiday commences : deposit
4-8 " " " " : 50% of quoted booking price
2-4 " " " " : 75% of quoted booking price
0-2 " " " " : 100% of quoted booking price
